I am lucky I have an amazing friend that owns a boat but if you are coming to Honolulu there is tons of little boats that go out for sunset!

AMALIA´S TATTOO STORY

Amalia nació y creció en Gran Canaria, y paso toda su infancia en la playa de las Canteras, donde sus padres se enamoraron, donde ella solía jugar con sus hermanos y pescar con su padre sin suerte. Estaba unida al mar y a todo lo que le rodeaba. Soñaba despierta y pensaba en historias de marineros. La primera vez que supo que las sirenas no existían fue con 11 años. Su madre siempre le dijo que era una soñadora. 

Pasaron los años y empieza a seguir el trabajo de algunos dibujantes, es así como dio con Ricardo Cavolo. En un viaje a Madrid se topa con un cartel de el en la calle, no duda en cogerlo y llevárselo a casa. Lo agrega en redes sociales, sigue su trabajo, contacta con el, e intenta averiguar si también tatúa. No hay suerte.

Un año después encuentra al perfecto tatuador para su ilustración en Tenerife. Y finalmente dos semanas más tarde uno de sus sueños se hace realidad: Esta preciosa sirena colgada de la barba de un forzudo.

Y por supuesto, nos encanta

The Mermaid

Amalia was born and raised in Gran Canaria, and spent all her childhood at the beach, where they parents felt in love, where she used to play with her sibilings and fish with her father with no luck. She was attached to the sea and what sourrunded it. She used to daydream about sailors stories. The first time she was told Mermaids didn´t exist she was 11 years old. Her mum used to tell her that she was a dreamer. 

Years go by and she starts to show interest on draftsmen and artists, thats how she discovered Ricardo Cavolo. In a trip to Madrid she found a poster of him at the Street, she grabs it and take it back to her house. She added him on social networks, follow his work, conctact him and tries to find out it if he also tattos. No luck with that. 

One year later she finds the perfect tattoo artist for it in Tenerife. And finally, two weeks later she made one of her dreams come true: This beautifull mermaid hanging on the beard of the big and strong man.

And of course, we love it.

PANTONE+ MOLESKINE

Como me encanta apuntarlo todo,  listas de cosas que tengo que hacer, pensamientos, hacer dibujos o bocetos,  siempre estoy a la búsqueda de la libreta perfecta. Y esta es una de las mejores fusiones que he visto en mucho tiempo. Ayer me pillé la rosa y amarilla. Energía positiva a tope porque las páginas son amarillas también. Hay de todos los colores además.
Y para los amantes de las moleskines como yo, aquí va un UN REGALO, me encanta ver como cada persona adapta la moleskine a su estilo de vida.

As I love to write down all,  making TO DO LISTS,  thoughts, drawings and drafts, I am always looking for the perfect notebook. And this is one of the best fusions I´ve ever seen. I got mine in pink and yellow yesterday. The pages are also yellow, I love that, positive energy! There are many colors as you can see.
And for those molekines lovers like me, EXTRA BONUS here, I love how every person gives his moleskine a diferent life.
